IVORY WEDDING FLOWERS
Ivory flowers give a much softer, antique and more dreamy feeling. They are romantic, and are perfect for vintage styling.
My favourite ivory roses, commercially available to florists, are Alaska or Avalanche - lovely shape and size and warm tones of ivory.
If you are looking for more champagne tones, then Vendella is a beautiful rose for this colour palette.
If you would like to discuss some options of what would be possible for Your ivory flowers, then please reach out with any questions Wedding Designer - Jo - I would be delighted to help.
It is important if you are wearing an Ivory dress that your flowers are indeed ivory/cream and not pure white.
White flowers can make your dress look dirty or discoloured.
Thankfully, most white flowers are actually in shades of white, (usually with undertones of green, pink, yellow, or even brown) which change the depth and hue of the bloom.
I would not recommend Phalaenopsis orchids or White casablanca lillies if you are wearing ivory, as these are the whitest of flowers.
Most Popular Ivory Flowers:
- Roses Ivory Alaska, Avalanche, Mon Cherie.
- Roses champagne - Vendella, Talea.
- Roses antique cream - Creme de la creme.
- NEW: David Austin Roses "Patience"
- Peonies
- Carnations
- Calla Lillies
- Lisianthus
- Hydrangeas
- Gerberas
- Dahlia
- Chrysanthemum
- Ranunculus
- Parrot Tulips
- Polymin orchids

- Freesias
- Earlicheer

Classic favourite! Alaska roses with lambs ear.
This is my favourite ivory rose - its soft and full
and a warm ivory colour. Perfect for vintage style.
Vanessa wanted vintage charm to go with her amazing lace bolero- we used a feminine and pretty combination of garden vintage flowers in shades of ivory and soft green.

I adore the use of very soft green as a background against ivory flowers - here we have used hydrangea as the base against lisianthus and alaska roses.
Elegant pearl branches are the finishing touch.

This was a winter bouquet with freesias, ranunculus, roses and lambs ear.
Amanda was a Stunning bride (and I have
serious hair envy!) - Beautiful bouquet of roses, lisianthus, hydrangea and pearls (as above).
You can see more of Amanda and Jonathan's wedding in Engaged Magazine

Vintage styled bouquet of ivory alaska roses and stunning hydrangea - sometimes keeping things simple in the flower mix is just perfect!
Pretty ivory roses and lisianthus in sweet posies,
highlighted with fern. Adding a splash of green
freshens the whole design.
Jillian's wedding was at Villa Maria Estate - the bouquets are ivory roses, parrot tulips, ranunculus and chrysanthemums with a touch of green. Pretty!
Villa Maria Estate is a lovely venue - interesting backdrops and lots of wine history - and its in a place of Auckland you don't normally see much of!

I loved everything about this wedding! Kara chose a stunning Bridesmaid colour and we framed that with the softest green and ivory bouquets - with lots of delicious texture.
Soooo pretty!
Trailing bouquet of ivory calla lillies, Akito roses
and green hydrangea. Love the simple styling
of the green tropical leaves.
Vintage and gorgeous! Open roses, freesias,
parrot tulips, cybidium orchids and phyllica -
Cara wanted texture - lots and lots of texture.
Love the string binding on this bouquet and the
keepsake heart that was a gift from Jeff.
Rachel's bouquet was a very special one to make. Her Parents and grandparents have been orchid growers (export) for a long time - they picked the most beautiful orchid to use in her wedding. The tiny anthuriums and maidenhair fern came from the same plant that was used in her mothers bouquet. Love!
Brides posy of soft vendella champagne roses, ivory alaska roses, lisianthus and soft lime green hydrangea. I love the addition of fresh green to the bouquets - If you do too, then make sure you check out our green page for more inspiration.
Bridesmaids Posy with a more garden feeling in ivory's and fresh lime green. Lisianthus, roses and hydrangea. Love the movement of the lisianthus buds.
Brides posy of ivory calla lillies, champagne roses, green hypericum berries, hydrangea and green lotus pods with sage leaves to highlight.
Funky yes, but still pretty!
Very proud to say this was the second wedding for this lovely local family. Andrea's bouquet was a trailing bouquet and the girls carried hand tieds of de la creme roses.
Simple but cute - French sheaf bouquets - Designed to be carried across the arm. Ivory gerberas (with green centres), with a delicate butterfly detail. Finished with ivory satin ribbon.
Tori's trailing bouquet had ivory roses and astilbe,
highlighted with ruscus and bear grass and a
hint of diamantes. Bridesmaids carried simple
pretty Vendella rose posies.
For this Wedding we wanted to highlight the pretty daisy motif- Daisies were featured in the bridesmaids bouquets with pearl details, we repeated them in the gorgeous flowergirls baskets (with pretty butterfly detail) and then in the Brides bouquet we used elegant silver daisy brooches as the feature.
That gorgeous ruffley (& fragrant!) flower - is carnations!
We have used them here with ivory roses, a collar
of gypsophila and maribou feather highlights.
Ivory gerberas and roses combine in a simple but very eye-catching design. The chocolate brown centres in the gerberas really make this bouquet pop.
We can include any accessory you can think of in your bouquet. Butterflies are perfect for Butterfly Creek weddings or brides having a butterfly release as part of the ceremony.
What would you like to include in Your bouquet?
Soft garden-look posy of stock, freesias,
ranunculus and roses. Here we have used ribbon and a touch of soft gold lace to bind the handle for a vintage feeling. Pretty!

Bride and her trailing bouquet of vendella and
talea roses. A more traditional look but very elegant.
The use of tropical leaves, bear grass, moss and just one type of bloom- Iivory calla lillies, gives this bouquet a more modern feeling. Stylish and elegant!
If you are looking for champagne coloured roses then
Vendella is just perfect. It has a lovely shape, that
gorgeous warm colour and it lasts well.
Lovely to use!
Anna's bouquets were all in ivory and greens and we chose this palette as a way of tying all the Bride and bridesmaids together. Perfect as the maids were in different dresses and colours.
Such a pretty combination of spring flowers - ranunculus, lisianthus, roses, freesias, gypsophila and delicate lambs ear.
Wedding posy of the prettiest freesias
with just a hint of pink mixed with ivory alaska roses.
Classic mixture of ivory callas and roses
to give a clean, elegant look and style.
